OFFICE OF CHIEF CONTROLLER OF ACCOUNTS

This office is headed by

SH. M. PRAN KONCHADY ,ICAS.

There are three Dy Controller of Accounts and one Asst. Controller of Accounts to assist the Chief Controller of Accounts in his official work.

Payments, Receipts and accounting thereof, at primary level is done by Pay and Accounts Officers (PAOs). Pay and Accounts Offices are located at 7 places in India.

National Highways related payments ( and accounts) are made by following PAOs:

PAO, New Delhi for Delhi and adjoining areas.

PAO, Bangalore for Karnataka,Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh.

PAO, Chandigarh for Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab and Haryana.

PAO, Lucknow for U.P. and Bihar.

PAO, Jaipur for Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.

PAO, Mumbai for Maharastra, Gujarat and Goa.

PAO, Kolkatta for West Bengal and Orissa.

PAO, Guwahati for Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura and Mizoram.

SHIPPING related payments are made by

PAO in NEW DELHI

PAO, Kolkatta and

PAO, Mumbai.

OTHER payments are made by PAOs situated in Delhi and NOIDA (suburb of Delhi)
